Due to the overwhelming support and generosity of all who have contributed to my strip-a-thon page, we have reached my original goal of $2,000! With three weeks left in this fundraising period and with kind words and encouragement from friends, I am raising my goal to $2,500. I have set a personal goal of $2,000 to raise for Broadway Cares. So far, my strip-a-thon supporters and I have raised $1,640. The money we have raised so far is amazing and will make such a big, big impact on the lives of so many men, women and children. I’d say I only have $360 to go, but we’re shooting for the stars here people. If everyone reading this status donated just TEN dollars, more and more lives will be changed. WHAT WE DO TOGETHER MAKES A DIFFERENCE
It’s finally here! That special time of year where the Strip-a-thon fundraising for Broadway Cares begins! I’m very excited to share with you that I am once again participating in this year’s Strip-a-thon, which is part of the fundraising efforts for Broadway Bares XXII: Fairy Tales!
Broadway Cares is so special to me and it is one of the most worthwhile nonprofit organizations you can give to. Broadway Cares is leading the fight against AIDS while also helping kick start Dancers Responding to AIDS, Artists Striving to End Poverty and Revolucion Latina; additionally BC/EFA is helping support and encourage a number of other organizations in their quest for a better world. In the face of the devastating disasters the world has encountered over the past decade, Broadway Cares has seized the opportunity to send relief funds to Haiti, Japan, and New Orleans.
